v2.1.2 - Party mode... ENGAGED
After the rescale things were still a little flat visually, so I've made some tweaks to liven the game up bit. The obstacles and player have slightly more detailed sprite work now, and there's a light source that tracks to the player, giving a subtle illumination to the area around you.
More noticeable than that though is the addition of of some colored shadows off of obstacles, a feature I affectionately call party mode. This is a purely aesthetic change, just for fun and flash, and I think it helps to add some energy to the game. I found myself dancing the player around as I played, and I hope you'll have that much fun with it too! Attached gif relevant.
Apart from that, some other additions:
- Fixed the distance from your click/finger the player would translate upward.
- Added a audio feedback when the player hits an obstacle.
